Transformable Acoustic Metamaterial

We have been working with Prof Lau Gih Keong (formerly a Prof from NTU) on a sound barrier system with our AgNws for some time. When we first started our discussion, it seems to be impossible to have transparent sound barrier and yet still allows wind to pass through especially in our highly dense country. Since then, Prof Lau and team have made it!! Imagine we can have it in all our windows to cut off the sound and yet having natural air coming into the house. This will minimize the use of air-conditioning which will in turn generate more heat and damage to the environment!!
